The much-loved Walk a Mile a Day in May event is back, and this year, weโre taking it to the next level! Born out of the 2020 lockdown, this initiative has grown into a powerful movement encouraging healthier lifestyles, promoting physical activity, and raising vital funds for those affected by breast cancer.
๐ Calling all households, schools, workplaces, and organisations across the UK! ๐ We want YOU to join us and commit to walking just one mile a day every day throughout May 2025.
Walking for a cause has never been so easy - or so impactful. Did you know that regular exercise and a healthy diet can reduce the risk of breast cancer by up to a THIRD? And when you walk in nature, you get even more benefits, including reduced stress, boosted immunity, a lift in your mood, and improved focus. Itโs an incredible activity thatโs good for both your body and mind.

It only takes 15-20 minutes to walk one mile at a moderate pace - so it fits perfectly into your daily routine! Here are some fun and easy ways to get moving:

Ask your friends and family to support your efforts by sponsoring you per mile or with a total amount at the end of May. Itโs entirely up to you!
