Camp Hill Dance Team

Between November and December 2019 the Camp Hill Dance Team raised money for the Pink Ribbon Foundation selling pink ribbons at their school during break times and lunch to support those affected by breast cancer.  They raised an incredible £220 to support our vital work and we are extremely thankful for their kindness.

To further raise awareness of the cause, the dance team held a school assembly to talk about the work of the Foundation. They also choreographed a contemporary dance to the song 'Not About Angels' by Birdy which they performed in the Camp Hill Dance Show. The dance told the story of a woman's struggle with breast cancer - battling to become cancer free, only for it to come back again harder.  The dance was filmed and has been sent to the Great Big Dance Off (a national school's dance competition) and they have qualified for the regionals taking place on the 3rd February! We wish them the best of luck as they spread the awareness!
