Such a pleasure to film with Jo and the team at the Primrose Centre, Bromley, with the wonderful Two Chics Media as part of our new 25th anniversary video 🌼
This year, the Primrose Centre, which was set up in 2010 by the amazing Mary Spinks, turns 15 years old - and the Pink Ribbon Foundation has been a big supporter for almost as long! The Centre is run entirely by volunteers and they offer holistic therapies, counselling, lymphatic drainage and support for those affected by breast cancer 🎀 No medical referral is needed to attend, guests simply register with the Centre by phone, email or face to face - some therapies do require GP consent.
Treatments and classes are FREE to everyone, with donations and grants from the likes of the Pink Ribbon Foundation, making this possible.
Appointments fit around medical appointments and are a vital respite from the grind of traditional treatment, offering guests the opportunity to 'have something nice done to their body' and the opportunity to meet and chat with others.
This is what the Pink Ribbon Foundation does and has been doing for 25 years - supporting breast cancer charities across the UK and helping them to provide valuable front line services to those who lives have been impacted by breast cancer.
Thank you Martini and Alex for filming and to Jo, Sarah, Jette and all the therapists and visitors at the Primrose Centre for allowing us to spend a few hours in your beautiful building and being so open 🩷 We look forward to many more years supporting you!
*excited to visit more wonderful charities over the coming weeks!
