One of the highlights of Octoberโ€™s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, was our BOLD photo shoot with photographer @caroline_sikkenk ๐ŸŽ€

The @bold_exhibition is a labour of love for Caroline who realised that once the hair is gone, a different kind of beauty emerges. Other features draw our attention, delicately or strongly outlined cheekbones, cheerful freckles, the shape of the lips, a certain sparkle in the eyes. The hair no longer distracts our attention from the pure beauty of a face. Because you canโ€™t hide behind your hair anymore, the emotions on your face also become more vivid. Photographing these women is a very special quest to capture their beauty, strength, purity, and courage.

Thirteen women took part in the first UK #boldphotoshoot (including @thelindanolan) of all ages and backgrounds, with some still undergoing treatment and others having completed treatment - all have lost their hair, and our images show them as bald or at various stages of regrowth.

We are planning a photo exhibition in early 2024 to show off all the wonderful portraits (shout out to potential sponsors), and we will share more of the personal stories and โ€˜journeyโ€™ of each model.  I can't wait to share with you all how utterly AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL these women are โ€ฆโ€ฆ in the meantime, Iโ€™ll share some teaser images.  Let me introduce you to (Instagram handles):
