A lovely occasion to get together and celebrate books whilst raising much needed funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation (Reg. Charity No. 1080839).  Ticket price includes a glass of prosecco, wine or beer, a signed copy of Adele’s new novel 'One Last Secret' and a donation to the Foundation.

Adele Parks MBE is one of Britain's most successful and best-known novelists. Her books have been translated into 30 languages and every one of her novels has been a national bestseller. Adele joins us with husband Jim to talk about her latest novel One Last Secret, a story about Dora a high-class escort who agrees to one last job before she turns her back on the escort world and all its dangers.  Daniel has paid for her services before and this time all she has to do is spend a week in a beautiful chateau in the south of France and convince the assembled guests that she is his girlfriend.  However, Dora finds herself face-to-face with a man she has never forgotten, the one man who really knows her and as secrets surface, it becomes terrifyingly obvious that one last secret could cost Dora her life.  (Published by Harper Collins).

Adele writes numerous articles and short stories for national magazines and newspapers and often appears on radio and TV talking about her work and related matters. She’s award winning and currently has two novels optioned for TV development.  This is a great opportunity to hear about her life, work and views on love and relationships – with her trademark good humour and candid views, this is sure to be a fun evening.

Welcome drink on arrival, raffle, signed copy of Adele’s latest novel (One Last Secret) and of course a talk from Adele with Q&A session too!

Please note:

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase (cash only), as will back copies of Adele’s previous novels which can also be signed on the night (again, cash only).

There will also be a paying bar available before and after the event, serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks.
