#LookAtYourBoobs new collection
Shocked that almost half of women in the UK do not regularly check their boobs, Laura Stowers wanted to inspire conversations, encourage early detection, and show solidarity with those affected.
On the 1st October 2024, known as #FeelItOnTheFirst, Laura launched a campaign based around her artwork alongside the Pink Ribbon Foundation and the team behind Women in Art. People were encouraged to film, photograph and share images of themselves holding up the ‘boob artwork’ across social media with celebrities such as Penny Lancaster, Millie Mackintosh, Kimberly Wyatt and Kelly Brook joining the campaign.
With breast cancer being the most common cancer in women worldwide, Laura has donated two of her designs to the Pink Ribbon Foundation to help spread awareness around #internationalwomensday and beyond.
Together, we’re making a powerful statement to keep breast cancer awareness at the forefront of public consciousness.
