Rewa Khanna's Story
Three years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Over the past two years, she has bravely endured some of the most challenging treatments, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and a mastectomy. Though she has now completed all her treatments, the battle is not over. She continues to fight every day with incredible strength and resilience. This run is my way of standing with her, and with every family affected by breast cancer.
Inspired by her courage, I have decided to run a half marathon in support of the Pink Ribbon Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by breast cancer. This run is not just for my grandma—it's for every person facing this diagnosis and for the loved ones standing beside them.
I’m aiming to raise as much as possible to help fund vital support services and research. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference and brings us one step closer to a future without breast cancer
To get ready for this half marathon, I’ve been training 3–4 times a week, usually starting at 6:30 in the morning
