Lego Star Wars Collectors, P1-NK

When Neil Bolton lost his mum to breast cancer in 2004, he was determined to raise awareness and money to support others affected by the disease.

As part of a Facebook group called "Lego Star Wars Collectors", he decided to design a custom printed astromech (similar to r2-d2) that named P1-NK. The initial small run in February to test the figure, raised £160 from just seven figures. Due to the viability, Neil then did a bigger run of fifty figures, which sold out in just 8 minutes and raised over £1,230 for the Pink Ribbon Foundation (100% profits).

Due to the success of the initiative, Neil is planning to make more and raise even more money for the Foundation.
