Story
Most of you who know me are aware that I have been through breast cancer and I am very pleased to say this year is my 5 year milestone of being cancer free 😃. I thought it would be a great idea to celebrate it with a challenge and chose something big to mark the occasion. It's a bit of a monster 😬 and it may be bigger than I can handle but I'll definitely give it my best shot. (Sorry no refunds if I don't make the full distance!). The challenge will be a 630mile run/walk along the stunning south west coast path. I'll be camping (occasionally b&bing) along the way and I hope to complete it in 25 days. The total elevation is equivalent to climbing Everest 4 times!! Despite the awful experience of going through cancer i can honestly say it has left me with a lot of positives. It has altered my attitude to life, made me more confident to take on the unknown and pushed me to challenge myself and enjoy life as much as possible. So with the money raised I hope more people can be helped and put on a path to an adventurous life.
